Sadly, we’ll all remember Halloween of this year for the wrong reason. It won’t be because of the candy or our child’s costume, but due to the mayhem that took place in New York City that afternoon when Sayfullo Saipov drove a rented truck onto a pedestrian path and killed eight people and injured a dozen others.
Saipov was indicted today, and he was hit with a total of 22 indictments, which include 8 counts of murder, 12 counts of attempted murder, and one account of attempting to provide material aid to ISIS, as well as several other counts. It’s safe to say, he’ll be going away for life in the least, but it’s sad that there are no longer firing squads. It’s even sadder that the tax payers will have to foot the bill for what will no doubt be a kangaroo court that lasts for years.
Breaking 911 reports on a few more items of interest that were uncovered out about this killer.
Cellphones recovered from the truck contained, among other things, videos and images of ISIS propaganda, and internet searches for truck rentals and for Halloween in New York Cityhttps://t.co/lSDsMKjcm5

One of the most unfortunate parts about this whole story is the fact that Saipov had been in trouble with the law before and was actually even on an FBI watch list, yet authorities never took any actions that prevented this deadly afternoon of murder on Halloween.
